Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited GI fellowship.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Strong clinical skills with a dedication to patient-centered care.
  • Commitment to health equity and mission-driven medicine.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient consultative gastroenterology care.
  • Perform routine GI procedures, including EGD and colonoscopy.
  • Manage a wide range of GI conditions, including GERD, liver disease, IBS, IBD, and GI bleeding.
  • Participate in a rotating inpatient coverage and call schedule.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including advanced practice providers, GI nurses, and anesthesiology support, for advanced cases and referrals.
  • Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents.
  • Participation in clinical quality initiatives.
