Community Banking Supervisor (also known as Senior Head Teller or Senior Branch Operations Specialist) Location: Hanover, PA Are you ready to lead and empower a dynamic banking team while ensuring operational excellence? What We’re Looking For: Banking Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Community Banking Supervisor, Head Teller, Operational Specialist with advanced working knowledge of operational and administrative branch banking functions . Skills & Qualifications: Extraordinary leadership and management skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, and effective communication. Ability to open accounts and contribute toward achieving office sales goals. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Physical Ability: Capacity to lift and move currency/coin (up to 50 lbs.). Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Effectively supervise, coach, and mentor the Community Banking Associate team to achieve performance expectations, uphold standards, and foster an atmosphere of teamwork and communication. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service experiences and resolve inquiries and service deficiencies promptly and accurately. Operational Efficiency: Maintain precision in balancing and managing vault, office currency, and coin levels, while ensuring adherence to controls, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance. Sales & Referrals: Facilitate office-wide success by guiding the team to identify sales opportunities and make referrals to other departments or services. Risk Management: Mitigate risks by ensuring strict compliance with policies, procedures, and security protocols to protect the bank and customers. What You’ll Do: Lead by example in building relationships with customers and expanding financial solutions. Supervise the Community Banking Associate team to ensure efficient transaction processing and exceptional customer service. Support and coach team members in meeting sales goals, balancing performance, and adhering to bank standards. Oversee operational functions such as cash management, vault supervision, and ATM servicing. Coordinate workflow and collaborate with the Community Banking Manager to achieve office goals. Participate in team staffing and development processes, including onboarding and performance management.
