This is a full-time, in-office position based in our Clanton Branch. The position generally follows a standard schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; hours may vary based on business needs.

  • Proactively seek opportunities for personal and professional development. Be growth minded.
  • Enthusiastically support bank initiatives. Reinforce company-wide communication.
  • Develop and maintain a supportive relationship with branch and interdepartmental teammates.
  • Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of ALL bank products/services and cross-sell these products/services to new and existing customers.
  • Assist Branch Managers in identifying new and existing sales opportunities.
  • Deliver unmatched service by consistently executing the MCB PROMISE.
  • Bring in new bank customers and enhance existing customer relationships by developing and executing a sales plan. The plan should include a minimum of 5 sales calls per week and have a good mix of customers, prospects, and centers of influence.
  • Set, plan, and execute weekly sales calls on existing customers, prospects and centers of influence.
  • Actively network in the community to build relationships that lead to referrals.
  • Consistently meet or exceed loan, deposit, and cross selling goals.
  • Manage and monitor your loan portfolio within the guidelines set by the Chief Credit Officer and Loan Operations Manager.
  • Complete all assigned training by required deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
