About The Position

The Community Association Manager (CAM) at RealManage serves as the primary representative and key ambassador for the company, responsible for managing a portfolio of community associations. This role involves providing leadership, direction, and management to ensure the successful daily operations of the communities, delivering professional services, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The CAM works closely with the Board of Directors and other stakeholders to facilitate solutions, enhance property values, and uphold the company's guiding principles.

Requirements

  • Associate or higher degree highly preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year managing Homeowner Associations (HOAs) required.
  • CAI designation(s) strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with technology software for managing data and community portals.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a professional advisor to the Board of Directors for each assigned community.
  • Acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and regulatory statutes, as well as community documents, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide weekly updates and ongoing reporting to the Board on collections, ACC requests, compliance, service requests, and work order activities.
  • Conduct board or annual meetings and create monthly management reports, offering insights into community amenities and key initiatives.
  • Assist the Board in selecting contractors and insurance carriers to safeguard the community.
  • Manage vendor relationships, oversee the bid process, and ensure contract compliance.
  • Approve payments to vendors providing services to the community association.
  • Develop and submit comprehensive and accurate annual budgets, meeting all deadlines and demonstrating thorough analysis.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain accurate finances, variance reports, and invoice processing.
  • Build positive relationships with residents to ensure high-level service and timely resolution of concerns.
  • Attend required monthly manager's and training meetings.
  • Conduct all business with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct.
  • Demonstrate exceptional analytical skills to address a variety of situations effectively.
