Community Aid (Office Support) provides temporary administrative and clerical support to the Mayor’s Office of Arts, Culture & Entertainment (MOACE). This role helps ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the office by assisting with communications, scheduling, document management, and special event logistics.

  • Serve as first point of contact for phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries; route requests to appropriate staff.
  • Draft, edit, and prepare memos, letters, meeting materials, and sign-in sheets.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and coordinating logistics.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems (digital and physical).
  • Support office supply ordering and track small purchases.
  • Assist with logistics for public programs, meetings, and citywide events (e.g., sign-in sheets, packet assembly, check-in tables).
  • Perform general clerical duties such as copying, scanning, and data entry.
  • Provide additional support to the Director, Deputy Director, and team as needed.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of clerical, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, optional life, AD&D, and FSA plans.
  • Wellness programs, support groups, and workshops.
