The Communications Coordinator under general supervision, provides preventive maintenance, and systems repair for communication telephonic and communication mainframe systems, maintenance of voice, data, and video communication systems, provides diagnostics to maintain telecommunications systems and mainframes and troubleshoots problems and contacts appropriate vendors for service and support. Provides compliance of telephonic systems in accordance with policies, procedures, standards and practices set by Doctors Medical Center, Joint Commission, State Department of Health Services, and other local and government agencies throughout the Northern Californian market.

Requirements

• Experience in telecommunications systems maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of voice, data, and video communication systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot telecommunications problems effectively.
• Familiarity with compliance standards set by healthcare agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive maintenance and systems repair for communication telephonic and communication mainframe systems.
• Maintain voice, data, and video communication systems.
• Provide diagnostics to maintain telecommunications systems and mainframes.
• Troubleshoot problems and contact appropriate vendors for service and support.
• Ensure compliance of telephonic systems in accordance with policies, procedures, standards and practices set by Doctors Medical Center and other agencies.
• Provide coverage at DMC for PTO allotment and sick calls.
