About The Position

At Liquid Church, every weekend experience, ministry initiative, and outreach moment is supported by thoughtful communication and behind-the-scenes execution. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Communications Team Administrator to provide part-time support while our Communications Manager is on maternity leave. This role will help keep key communication systems moving, ensuring our campuses, ministries, and online audiences stay informed and engaged. This is a part-time, hybrid role (10 hours per week) for approximately 3–4 months, reporting to the Pastor of Strategic Relations and working closely with the Communications Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) or equivalent work experience.
  • 1–2 years of administrative, communications, marketing, or ministry support experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage recurring weekly tasks with consistency.
  • Comfortable working on a Mac and proficient in Google Workspace; familiarity with social media platforms required. Experience with RockRMS or church management systems is a plus.
  • Clear written communicator with the ability to draft simple, concise scripts and posts.
  • Demonstrates spiritual maturity and alignment with the church’s mission, values, and beliefs, marked by integrity, humility, and a servant-hearted approach to work.

Responsibilities

  • Support the consistent execution of weekly communications deliverables.
  • Partner with the Communications Team to support portions of the weekly promo plan workload.
  • Draft weekly promo reel video scripts to free up priority bandwidth for senior team members.
  • Create and post the weekly Sunday Recap social media post.
  • Reshare Sunday content through Instagram Stories and coordinate weekly campus social recap reposts.
  • Support weekly email communications (including social media team and weekly promotional email support as assigned).
  • Schedule event listings in RockRMS to ensure timely and accurate promotion.
  • Update the “What’s Trending” section of the Liquid Church App on a weekly basis.
  • Execute weekly Google My Business posting across all six campus accounts (1x per week per campus).
  • Assist with the monthly audit of Google My Business accounts, including uploading new photos, verifying service times, and ensuring all information is current and accurate.
  • Track recurring communication tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Communicate clearly with the Pastor of Strategic Relations and Communications Coordinator regarding project progress, priorities, and needs.
  • Help maintain organization across communication workflows during maternity leave coverage.
