About The Position

Bowhead Program Management & Operations seeks a Communications Strategist to collaborate with our team in developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy in support of NSWCCD in Norfolk, VA. The Communications Strategist will be responsible for understanding our organizational goals, target audiences, and key messages, and then crafting a strategic roadmap to effectively communicate our value proposition. The strategist will work closely with internal stakeholders to implement the plan, which includes identifying appropriate channels, creating compelling content, and measuring the impact of our communication efforts, ultimately enhancing our brand visibility and strengthening our relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or other relevant discipline.
• Five plus (5+) years experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Professional experience with Stiletto Maritime Platform.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
