This role is a critical blend of strategic consulting and creative storytelling, designed to transform the COE's mission, goals, and complex initiatives into clear, inspiring internal communications. This person acts as the primary liaison between the COE's leadership and the rest of the enterprise, building tools and orchestrating a communication cadence that fosters employee engagement and positions every team member as an active brand ambassador.

  • Identifies and creates communications that immerse employees in the Equifax mission and vision, as well as business goals and growth plans.
  • Writes compelling communications that inspire employees to become active brand ambassadors.
  • Establishes a cadence of communications and is responsible for orchestrating the overall plan to inspire COE employees.
  • Serves as a consultant to the COE, identifying programs and initiatives that will enhance the employee experience.
  • Creates tools, systems, and processes that enable employees to access accurate and compelling stories and information.
  • Builds and maintains constructive partnerships with clients and colleagues.
  • Anticipates future needs and takes projects from ideation to deployment.
  • Serves as the COE advocate and liaison with enterprise internal communications.
  • Accrues exposure to and understanding of critical business functions including finance, IT, marketing, legal, change management, and data & analytics.
  • Supports COE leaders and executives with deliverables including electronic/print communications, website content updates, videos, webcast updates, town hall meetings, and regular business reports.
  • Supports Business Initiatives including COE initiative communications, intranet content, messages from senior leadership, and employee recognition.
  • Supports Employee Engagement including creating/implementing strategy using Employee Engagement Survey data.
  • Web Content Management including overseeing updates to the intranet site with fresh content.
  • Mentors and enables COE leaders and stakeholders on storytelling best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college, degree in English preferred, or overall Communications or Language Arts degree.
  • 5-7 years related Communications experience.
  • Established track record in the field of corporate communications; excellent corporate writing background required.
  • Technical competencies include Google Workspace expertise, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage internal client relationships, including executive level, in mid- to large-size organizations.
  • Proven ability to build consensus among diverse leaders and manage sensitive situations discreetly.
  • A team player who can operate independently within established vision and goals.
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively; strong organizational skills.
  • Effective time management; ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven background in leading employee programs and events that achieve results.
  • Effective working in a matrixed, cross-functional organization.
  • Experience working with Poppulo.
