The ideal candidate must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, capable of operating and coordinating across multiple internal and external teams, and adept at context-switching with skill. The position also requires testing and evaluating different channels and messages to ensure effective engagement with the audience. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with both digital and traditional media, ensuring that our brand messages are consistently communicated across all channels. You will partner with internal teams to understand their goals and identify ways in which Public Relations can support their efforts, adjusting channels and messages as necessary. Success in this position is measured by the effectiveness of engagement with various stakeholders. The Communications Specialist will manage various company accounts, providing strategic communications counsel, and will interface with officers and managers to develop and achieve business goals. Responsibilities include presentation development, communication of key initiative announcements, and special projects. Collaboration with the marketing team is essential to co-develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies for both internal and external campaigns. Writing responsibilities encompass a range of company vehicles, including the intranet, executive talking points, email announcements, social media posts, and video scripts. Additionally, the role involves supporting Public Relations efforts outside of regular responsibilities, such as during storms and other emergency communications. Participation in the creative process for campaign development is also expected, contributing to the ideation and creation of compelling content relevant to targeted audiences.
