About The Position
The Communications Specialist supports the district's strategic communications with a focus on website management, graphic design, and social media. This role leads the design, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the district's website to ensure a user-friendly and accessible experience. The Specialist creates high-quality visual content for both digital and print platforms and manages the district's social media presence to highlight student success, staff excellence, and school culture. Additional responsibilities may include photography, videography, and support for district events. The position also provides training and technical support to building-level staff to strengthen school communications. Through effective visual storytelling and digital engagement, the Communications Specialist helps promote transparency, build community trust, and elevate the Dublin City Schools brand.
