About The Position

The Communications Specialist Sr at Kforce plays a crucial role in enhancing internal communications by partnering with the Director of Communications & PR. This position involves crafting strategic communications, developing scripts for webcasts, and collaborating with various teams to create comprehensive communication plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills, adaptability, and organizational abilities to effectively manage firm-wide communications and improve employee engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing.
  • 3 plus years of experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Outstanding written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate and self-direct, achieve set goals and deadlines, and analyze and solve problems.
  • Proficient personal computer skills with MS Office and Canva.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Constant Contact or other similar email marketing platforms, text message platforms, digital signage platform video production and editing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and delivery of recurring Firm-wide communications to target audiences using various communication vehicles.
  • Lead Communications strategy as a core member of project teams to develop communication plans for enterprise-level projects, strategic initiatives, and marketing projects providing consultative guidance and expertise.
  • Work with partners to develop and refine content and scripts for firmwide webcasts.
  • Oversee video production activities, including creation, editing, and coordination of live webcast events to effectively reach remote offices and audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing and project teams, including Creative Services, Digital Strategy, and Public Relations, and support proofing and editing needs.
  • Consistently review analytics to identify and recommend enhancements to existing communications programs for increased adoption.
  • Investigate, evaluate, propose, and plan for improvements to enhance the effectiveness of firm communication channels.
  • Identify gaps in employee communications and provide alternative solutions for an enhanced experience.
  • Review, edit, and approve communications to internal audiences as needed.
