CJP is at the heart of Greater Boston's Jewish community, recognized as Massachusetts' largest non-profit organization. We are dedicated to making Jewish life and learning accessible to all individuals and families in Boston and beyond. Our mission is to invest in the care and well-being of all community members while providing stability and growth to nonprofit organizations that underpin our community. We are currently seeking a Communications Specialist to work closely with the Office of our President and CEO, Rabbi Marc Baker. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to engage with leadership, possesses a natural curiosity about contemporary issues, and has a strong command of social and digital tools for community engagement. The Communications Specialist will report to the VP of Marketing and will collaborate with the Communications team, CJP's PR agency, and executive leadership to amplify the President and CEO's messaging and thought leadership through various digital channels, with a significant emphasis on social media. This position involves drafting and editing timely communication messages and accompanying the President and CEO to community events and meetings. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Jewish culture, history, and contemporary Jewish life, enabling them to provide a unique perspective in communications and speaking opportunities.
