About The Position
The Communications Specialist is responsible for executing strategic communications goals, including media relations, marketing, and multimedia communications. This role supports the Communications Director in implementing a comprehensive communication plan to promote City Council's goals and initiatives while managing outreach efforts across City Council's elected members, as directed by the Director of Communications and in collaboration with the Communications Team. The Communications Team operates as a collaborative group that provides expertise and support in the areas of marketing, media relations, digital and social media.
