About The Position

The Communications Specialist/Digital Humanities Now Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and producing regular issues of Digital Humanities Now, a platform for new writing and projects in the digital humanities field. This full-time role involves connecting with a diverse range of practitioners to highlight significant new work and assist the audience in understanding its relevance to their practices. The position is based in Northeastern University Library's Centers for Digital Scholarship, fostering collaboration among faculty and graduate students from various disciplines.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree in related fields such as digital humanities
• Knowledge of digital humanities and related publications
• Editing skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Drive, social media, WordPress, and editorial software.
