RESPONSIBILITIES: We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented communications professional to help strengthen and protect our company’s reputation. This individual contributor will support proactive storytelling, media engagement, executive visibility, and issues management – helping ensure a consistent, credible voice across our external communications. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and creative thinker with a passion for corporate storytelling and media relations. They thrive in a collaborative environment, are eager to learn, and bring curiosity and energy to every project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
  • Proven experience supporting communications initiatives, media relations, or public relations projects in a fast-paced business or agency environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Self-starter with curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing external communications plans and initiatives that enhance and protect the company’s reputation.
  • Support media relations efforts by drafting pitches, monitoring coverage, and helping coordinate responses to media inquiries.
  • Track media coverage and industry trends; compile summaries and surface insights to the team.
  • Draft and proof external materials and assist with research, data gathering and content preparation.
  • Help prepare briefing materials and talking points for executive interviews and events.
  • Contribute to projects such as the company’s global impact report, reputation campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Partner with internal partners to ensure consistent messaging and timely information sharing.
  • Maintain media lists, compile tracking reports and assist with measurement and analytics.
  • Research and maintain updated media lists and background information on journalists and influencers.
  • Support agency coordination by tracking deliverables and assisting with documentation and scheduling.
