About The Position
The position is part-time and involves answering calls quickly and efficiently, routing them to the appropriate area, and paging over the public address system for codes, hospital personnel, physicians, and announcements. The role also includes directing patients and visitors to the proper areas, providing proper patient information while retaining confidentiality, and implementing emergency procedures for the hospital. Additionally, the employee may help out in Mail Services when staffing is short and verify patient discharge for Mail Services during nights.
