About The Position

We are looking for a talented Communications & PR Manager to join our team. You will represent the voice of our company's subject matter expertise in the industry and will be responsible for research, planning, and end-to-end execution of technical and non-technical communications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Design and Sales. You will play a significant role in knowledge-sharing and building thought leadership in the autonomous driving industry.

Requirements

  • At least 8+ years of increasing responsibility in communications, with a proven track record of success in designing and executing communications strategies for new technologies
  • Strong track record of designing and executing communications strategies that generate visibility credibility, and thought leadership
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Experience translating complex data and analysis into accessible and persuasive narratives
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills with diverse external constituencies, including media, bloggers, and influencers. Experience pitching and placing stories

Nice To Haves

  • Background in journalism, public relations, public affairs, and/or communications experience
  • Proven experience in a senior communications role within the technology industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing team
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align communication efforts with business objectives

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a member of the organizational leadership team with a shared responsibility to develop and execute long-range plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives
  • Determine and manage the communications budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and accurate reporting
  • Develop a robust corporate communications strategy to enhance the company's reputation and stakeholder relationships
  • Ensure a clear, compelling, consistent brand image and message across all platforms, emphasizing the organization's thought leadership
  • Proactively manage media relations to enhance positive coverage and manage crisis communication effectively
  • Oversee internal communication initiatives to ensure a cohesive and informed workforce
  • Provide strategic counsel to the CEO and executive team on communication matters
  • Develop and deliver executive communications, including speeches, presentations, and talking points
