FUNCTION OF WORK: To receive and respond to requests from enforcement officers/agents through telecommunication equipment. Acts as the point of contact with the general public for emergency situations, accidents, complaints, etc. LEVEL OF WORK: Entry SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Direct from a Communications Officer Supervisor or higher-level personnel. SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None. LOCATION OF WORK: Statewide. JOB DISTINCTIONS: Differs from Communications Officer 2 by the absence of experienced-level duties.
