This role will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's core communications activities, shaping and promoting the public image and reputation of Flagship along with the companies in its ecosystem. This critical role requires a detail-oriented, creative, collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves, team member who has a keen interest in learning by doing. You will support core activities across a dynamic team to help formulate and execute innovative communication strategies that engage key stakeholders, drive brand awareness, and support the continued growth and success of Flagship Pioneering's groundbreaking ventures. This role with also be a critical player in organizational activities for the Communications and Public Affairs team. This role will be approximately 40% core communications activities, 40% events support and 20% team operations. The position will report to Flagship's Senior Director of Communications, with a dotted reporting line to Flagship's Head of Events and Brand Experience as it relates to events support. This role will be based at our Cambridge, MA location. We have a hybrid model and onsite presence 3 times per week is required.
