About The Position

The Communications Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and executing integrated communications that inform and inspire employees while strengthening the company’s public reputation. This role combines internal communications, media relations, and content development, working closely with the Director, Content & Communication and cross functional teams to ensure consistent, aligned messaging across audiences. The Communications Manager serves as a key storyteller and connector who helps employees understand company priorities while elevating the organization’s voice in the market through earned media opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, English, or related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience in internal communications, corporate communications, and media relations/PR.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills (AP style preferred).
  • Experience creating content for multiple audiences; ability to translate complex topics into clear, concise messages.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and manages the enterprise internal communications strategy to ensure employees understand the company’s vision, values, priorities, and key initiatives.
  • Translates business strategy and leadership decisions into clear, timely, and relevant internal messaging.
  • Partners closely with Executive Leadership EC to shape and cascade messages from leadership to the broader organization.
  • Drafts and manages internal CEO/EC communications ensuring consistency (e.g., all-hands messaging, strategic updates, milestone announcements, FAQs).
  • Serves as a key communications partner to HR, ensuring alignment on people related initiatives such as: Organizational changes Talent programs Culture, values, and engagement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant journalists and editors.
  • Identify, craft, and pitch compelling story ideas, including company news, thought leadership, customer impact stories, and data driven insights.
  • Prepare spokespeople with talking points, message guidance, and interview coaching; coordinate interviews and follow ups.
  • Maintain media lists, track coverage, monitor sentiment, and deliver insights.
  • Ensure internal messaging consistently reflects and reinforces the company’s external brand, product positioning, and market narrative.
  • Curate and share relevant external communications (press coverage, product launches, announcements, campaigns) to help employees understand how the company is represented publicly.
  • Coordinate timing of major announcements with stakeholders to ensure employee visibility ahead of or alongside external audiences.
  • Develop internal FAQs, summaries, and toolkits that help employees articulate key messages to customers and partners.
