About The Position

This position is responsible for managing, developing and implementing Support Center and community communications strategies, plans, documents and other related activities to promote, maintain and enhance Benedictine’s reputation, image and awareness. The Manager, Communications serves as the steward of the organization’s voice, reputation, and public witness in support of its Catholic identity, mission and ministry. This role manages, develops and implements Support Center (corporate office) and community communications, public relations, crisis communications, and media relations strategies, plans, documents and other related activities to maintain and enhance Benedictine’s brand reputation, image and awareness. Grounded in Catholic social teaching and the organization’s values, this manager ensures communications are clear, compassionate, and mission-centered—especially during moments of change, challenge, or crisis. The role acts as a trusted advisor to executive leadership to uphold dignity, transparency, and trust.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in communications, public relations, journalism and/or related field
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience in corporate marketing communications, public relations agency or related business field or equivalent combination of education and experience
