Communications Manager

About The Position

Meta is seeking a Communications Manager to help drive awareness and engagement for our company. This role will collaborate closely with executive leaders across business, infrastructure, and finance functions. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in technology, an understanding of diverse cultures, creativity, and effective written communication skills. The individual should have experience in planning and executing communications initiatives, reviewing campaigns, and working collaboratively across product, marketing, and partner teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications or related field
7+ years of experience in communications or a related field
Evidence of leading or significantly contributing to high-impact communications strategies, media relations, and crisis management
Experience with written communication and editing skills for speeches, press releases, op-eds, and digital content
Experience developing and execute comprehensive communications plans aligned with organizational goals

Responsibilities

Create strategic plans and campaigns to advance Meta’s reputation
Tell riveting stories about our products and their impact on people
Maintain relationships with members of the media
Think through integrated marketing communications across all channels, including owned, earned and social
Work directly with executives to shape how they can help advance our campaigns or narratives
Create content such as social posts, blogs, pitches, and other creative materials that evangelize various announcements and milestones
Lead press events, prepare spokespeople, and create briefing materials
Collaborate across multiple functions including engineering, product, marketing, content, and communications on communications plans
