About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic Communications Manager at the Assistant Director level to join our EY Americas Industry Group team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive internal communications and engagement strategies for the TMT Industry Group, comprised of three sub-sectors: Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and a proven track record in managing complex communication projects. Your expertise will drive internal collaboration, enhance our market presence, and support our business objectives. Requirements

  • Eight-plus years of communications, branding or marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated project management and internal communications experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including presentations) as well as listening and interpretation skills.
  • Must be able to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward, concise and easily digestible manner for broad audiences.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills, including the development of others.
  • Possesses poise and confidence to professionally interact with all levels of leadership.
  • Strong project and time management skills.

  • Skills to leverage available tools and technology to measure impact of communication initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze measurement data to effectively advise leadership and ensure communications strategy evolves as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Create, develop and manage scope and schedule for moderate to complex communications projects for internal audiences.
  • Plan and assign resources to associated tasks and deliverables as appropriate and manage tasks based on project plans.
  • Collaborate with the Industry Group Communications Leader to develop plans designed to effectively communicate strategic objectives and initiatives.
  • Anticipate potential objections and leverage experience, insight and creativity to influence others to consider innovative solutions.
  • Anticipate ramifications of decisions and issues to project stakeholders and present alternatives when obstacles arise.
