About The Position

Congressional Country Club is seeking a Communications Manager / Graphic Designer to join our Member and Internal Communications team. This fast-paced role is central to how the Club tells its story visually and in words, honoring our legacy while shaping how we communicate in our second century. You will serve as one of the Club's primary storytellers, partnering closely with the Video Production Manager and collaborating across de partments, including Member Services, Food & Beverage, Events, Aquatics, Golf, Racquets, Fitness, and more. Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, this position works closely with the broader Administration team to deliver high-quality, on-brand communicat ions that inform, inspire, and connect. We are looking for a communications professional who is collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about design, communication, and hospitality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, c ommunications, or a related field (preferred)
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in design and/or communications; hospitality or a related industry is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong service-oriented mindset
  • Proven experience producing high-impact, visually compelling communications across multiple platforms
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint in particular); experience with generative AI tools strongly preferred
  • Highly organized, detail-driven, self-motivated, and solution-oriented
  • Portfolio required upon application

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and oversee the Club's communications across digital, print, and media channels, including: Weekly newsletters Departmental communications Daily Habits content Quarterly digital lifestyle magazine Printed Team Member Culture Book
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications plan in partnership with the communications team and Club leadership
  • Leverage automation tools and generative AI, where appropriate , to streamline workflows and enhance routine communications
  • Manage and maintain the Club's website, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and consistent brand voice
  • Oversee digital forms and workflows, including event registrations and internal processes
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Club leaders, offering communications best practices and creative solutions to internal and external challenges
  • Design and deliver brand-aligned materials such as flyers, brochures, infographics, packaging, landing pages, and website assets
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics for publications and email campaigns, using insights to continuously improve engagement
  • Identify opportunities to spotlight Members and Team Members in ways that reflect the Club's habits, values, and legacy
