On Ads Comms, it's our job to help inform and inspire users, customers, business leaders and key opinion formers about the benefits of Google and YouTube advertising products. These tools power the open internet, the mobile ecosystem, the connected television space and other surfaces with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, creators, advertisers and Google. We help millions of businesses large and small around the world use Google’s solutions to reach their customers, monetize their content, measure business outcomes and grow with digital advertising. To succeed here, you will combine creativity with organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously, as well as enjoy pitching to journalists, bloggers and commentators. As a member of Ads Communications, you will lead global communications for two areas of Google’s advertising business: ads policy and ads privacy. In this role, you will shape Google’s leadership in ads safety and defend our ads policies and enforcement decisions in the press. This includes developing proactive and reactive plans to support policy launches, manage media inquiries and provide counsel on policy changes to the cross-functional Ads and Trust and Safety teams. Additionally, you will manage proactive and reactive communications plans for Google’s ads privacy innovations, such as confidential computing, industry-leading ads privacy practices and personalization policies. You will advise cross-functional teams on product development, launches and policy changes, working with Product, Sales, Marketing, Legal and Government Affairs to develop communications strategies and messaging that aligns with company goals.
