The Communications Gameday Assistant position at the Arizona Diamondbacks is a part-time, seasonal role focused on supporting media operations during home games for the 2025 season. The assistant will manage media credential distribution, assist with VIP guest services, and act as a liaison between the media and the organization, ensuring smooth communication and operations on game days.

  • Operate and staff the media will call window.
  • Manage media credential distribution, including production and answering questions from media members.
  • Distribute field/batting practice passes for VIPs and team guests.
  • Represent the D-backs organization as a communications liaison to media and guests at Chase Field.
  • Assist with escorting VIPs/guests to the field as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested by the Communications staff.
  • Recent college graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited College or University with a minimum sophomore level status, majoring in Public Relations, Communications, Sports Business or Sports Marketing.
  • Knowledgeable in baseball terminology.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and customer service skills.
  • Highly dependable, motivated and well organized.
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to learn quickly.
  • Fluency in Spanish is desired, but not required.
  • Hourly pay for the duration of the 2025 season.
