About The Position

Responsibilities

• Support creative leadership, website social media management, and overall branding of the Abyssinian Baptist Church.
• Serve as the primary lead for conceptualizing, creating, implementing, maintaining, and coordinating all digital content.
• Oversee the communications budget.
• Manage email and text communication systems.
• Work with church and ministry leaders to define, develop, and effectively communicate messages to church-wide and specific audiences.
• Coordinate website content and updates in collaboration with pastor staff and external vendors.
• Develop and execute social media strategy, including developing content and scheduling content releases.
• Analyze social media trends and metrics, such as new users' growth, likes, shares, and trends, every week.
• Maintain an editorial calendar with posts drafts and scheduled for future publication.
• Oversee production worship service media design and provide upgrade guidance.
