About The Position

Eaton's ES AMER HQ division is currently seeking a Communications Director, ES-A. This position is based at our Moon Township, PA facility. Relocation assistance is available to those currently residing in the United States. This role also offers a hybrid working schedule. The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field of study required.
  • Eight (8) years of progressive marketing or communications experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience in creating, implementing, and evaluating strategic leadership communication plans and content for senior leadership teams, supporting a global manufacturing operation.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite of software, including office, SharePoint, editing, Teams capability, etc.
  • Ability to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement the strategic communications plan for Electrical Sector - Americas (ESA).
  • Increase employee engagement, support business objectives, and enhance Eaton's visibility and brand.
  • Align with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Understand Eaton and ESA strategies and market trends.
  • Deliver effective messages and analyze feedback to improve communication approaches.
  • Collaborate closely across the organization to ensure a consistent and unified message across all channels.
  • Develop innovative communication approaches that resonate with a diverse, multi-national workforce.
  • Build strong relationships with media outlets and external partners to promote Eaton's achievements and initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in corporate communications.
  • Engage and contribute to key discussions, decisions, and responsibilities as a member of the ESA human resources senior leadership team.
  • Create, implement, and evaluate strategic leadership communication plans and content for members of the Electrical Sector Americas senior leadership team.
  • Develop a regular operating cadence of content for the business to engage employees with the business vision.
  • Oversee internal and occasional external communications content for global senior leaders.
  • Lead/support crisis or issue management with sensitive and effective internal and external communications.
  • Engage with the Eaton communications function to ensure complete alignment with the strategy.
  • Stay informed about market drivers and current trends impacting Eaton and the ESA business.
  • Collaborate closely across key functions, including human resources, corporate communications, technology, and regional communications teams.
  • Ensure global regional communications plans are aligned with the strategy and enhance employee engagement.
  • Utilize digital media tools and social media techniques worldwide.
  • Create impactful content that reflects the organization's brand using writing and visual communication.
