About The Position

The Corporate Communications Coordinator will create and execute company-wide communications initiatives, with an emphasis on supporting internal projects, the intranet, employee communications efforts, internal and external content creation, and industry event programming. This individual will work cross-functionally with departments across the business. The ideal candidate for this role is a collaborator, creative thinker, strong writer, detail-oriented, organized, and will foster ScanSource core values and culture through multi-channel communication.

Requirements

  • College degree in communications, public relations, advertising, or marketing.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Comfortable with working independently and in a group, while handling several tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to interact successfully with individuals and teams across functions with the flexibility to adapt to changing objectives.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years experience in an Advertising/PR agency or Corporate Communications/Marketing department setting.
  • Experience with intranet and project management platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with social media platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to internal global digital platform (intranet) by regularly updating content calendar, writing articles, posting, editing pages, monitoring/moderation, and metrics reporting.
  • Assists with content creation across multiple communication platforms to include intranet, blog, and social media.
  • Supports project workflow—seeking information, approvals, and resources needed to maintain time, budget, and content requirements.
  • Works with internal creative and digital teams to project manage corporate deliverables.
  • Assists with branding/promotion for virtual and in-person employee events; attend events as needed.
  • Event program support to include in-office events, planning, execution and other duties as assigned.
  • Manages ticketing process for community events and corporate partners.
  • Other Communications duties as assigned.
