The Communications Coordinator will work to expand targeted outreach efforts and promote evidence-based screening practices. The incumbent will provide support and leadership to collaboratively promote population-based quality screening, and appropriate follow-up for breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer and promote prevention of cervical, skin, lung, and tobacco-related cancers using targeted communications and outreach for several large statewide programs including the Louisiana Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, the Louisiana Breast and Cervical Health Program, Louisiana Healthy Community Coalitions and colorectal cancer initiatives. He/she will support offices at LSUHSC -NO including governmental affairs, Foundation, and communications in providing information on LCP to LSUHSC -NO stakeholders and donors. Work with LCP staff to strategize and expand social media presence.
