About The Position

The Communications Coordinator at Copper Mountain will support the Communications and Philanthropy Manager in promoting and protecting the brand through effective media relations and communications strategies. This role is essential for driving business initiatives and ensuring positive media coverage for the resort and its various divisions.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of media relations and communications strategies.
  • Familiarity with the Copper Mountain brand and POWDR Adventure Lifestyle Co.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various divisions and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Communications and Philanthropy Manager in media relations efforts.
  • Drive earned media placements for Copper Mountain and POWDR Adventure Lifestyle Co.
  • Assist in fulfilling media requests and maintaining media lists.
  • Track media coverage and manage media hosting activities.
  • Facilitate internal and external communications for the resort.
  • Manage incident communications and stakeholder communications.
