The Role As a Communications Consultant, you will help Fidelity's clients deliver critical information to their employees, retirees and other participants by crafting and delivering outstanding communication materials through a variety of channels. This includes producing high-quality Defined Contribution plan communications and efficiently pursuing opportunities to increase engagement through Fidelity Financial Wellness and Education offerings. The Large market supports clients with $100M - $500M in plan assets while the Select market clients have between $500M - $1B in plan assets. The Expertise and Skills You Bring Experience in employee benefits communication and/or financial services. Confident, polished professional with a strong executive presence in front of clients and business partners. Client consultation experience. 3+ years communications experience. FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required (or acquired within 90 days of hire). Understanding of communication process from writing and craftmanship through distribution across multiple media (print, internet, video). The understanding to write and/or edit readable, user-friendly copy and integrate graphics to improve messaging. Knowledge of the communications and financial industry and standards. The Team We support Fidelity’s 401(k) plan sponsors in the creation and distribution of Fidelity’s comprehensive participant programs and innovatively deliver communications and education. Your dedicated efforts will generate revenue for Fidelity by offering efficient, digital solutions that engage participants. You will work internally with key business partners like marketing, product, legal and production to meet client desires, as well as externally with plan sponsors, consultants, participants, and Fidelity’s vendors.
