About The Position

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program.
  • Valid Social Security Number needed by the first day of employment.
  • Must be able to commute daily to the Boston Design Center in the Seaport District of Boston, MA.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework and interest in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or similar fields.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerBI, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior professional experience, preferably with some customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Boston Beer Company communications team including external, internal, and consumer communications.
  • Manage the day-to-day responses to drinker contacts across all brands using a CRM system.
  • Answer consumer inquiries by email promptly and thoroughly in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Write and maintain brand messaging for drinker-facing communications.
  • Assist in regular data mining and brand insights reporting.
  • Prepare and send mailers to media and drinkers including product samples, refund checks, swag, etc.
  • Build media lists, editorial calendars, pitch materials, and research backgrounders, providing general PR support for brand leads.
  • Attend team, department, and cross-functional meetings for exposure to other areas of the business.
