Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Communications Management: The Communications Associate will serve as the backbone of our internal communications infrastructure, managing the complete lifecycle of organizational communications. This includes drafting and editing professional correspondence across multiple formats including emails, letters, one-pagers, and specialized communications materials. You will maintain and optimize mailing lists and implement comprehensive tracking systems to measure communication effectiveness and engagement. Working collaboratively with the Communications team, you will develop and produce employee communications and notifications that keep our workforce informed and engaged. Your role requires keen attention to detail and the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and communication channels.
  • Internal Communications Process Management: This position assumes comprehensive responsibility for managing the internal communications workflow from initiation to completion. You will receive and review communications from jurisdictions, landlords, and security personnel, making critical determinations about transmission priorities and urgency levels. This responsibility extends to drafting clear, actionable communications for affected Blackstone employees, coordinating with Internal Communications for thorough review and approval processes, and managing final distribution scheduling to ensure timely delivery.
  • Specialized Communications Support Beyond core communications functions, you will oversee all landlord and vendor communications related to Blackstone's GHG reporting initiative, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. The role includes managing vendor communications for work order management procedures, contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual report development.
  • Facilities Management Support Provide tactical planning assistance to the Facility Management Team in achieving strategic goals and objectives. Offer facility-specific support to project management initiatives as requested and manage assigned small facility management tasks. Your responsibilities include maintenance activity coordination and scheduling, and serving as the primary interface with clients, visitors, and guests while ensuring appropriate customer follow-up.
  • Vendor and Service Coordination Direct and inform vendors, facilities staff, and service providers to ensure excellent coordination and execution of work within the client environment while minimizing operational disruption.
