General Summary of Essential Purpose: Provide temporary support to the Communications team to organize and rebuild the archival library of photos, videos and design projects, as well as general administrative support.
Requirements
- Willingness and ability to support the mission of the Church by extending the ministry of the Archbishop.
- Ability and desire to use God-given gifts and talents in service of the local Church.
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Experience working in databases or digital asset management software.
- Some experience working in an office environment.
- Detail oriented and accurate with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Enjoys process and database-like work.
- Critical thinker who can work independently.
- Self-starter and pro-active.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Migrating a large set of content (photos, videos and design projects) from various digital locations into the central archiving software.
- Tagging photos and videos with descriptions, key words and other identifying information, ensuring alignment with naming convention.
- General clean up and organization of photo and video library.
- General Communication team administrative support, which may include researching information, tracking social media trends, auditing parish bulletins and more.
