Job Summary The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Unlimited Term Communications Assistant. The Communications Assistant with perform casual labor, assist with production of articles, videos, and content for the PSIA department's outreach efforts. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic knowledge of standard office software (MS Word, Excel)

Nice To Haves

  • Office environment background preferred.
  • Article writing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Write content for departmental website and other communications deliverables, including articles and event reporting
  • Manage the development and distribution of innovative and effective communications materials for students, faculty and graduate audiences
  • Maintain and carry out departmental communications plan
  • Maintain appropriate relationships with faculty, students, peers and alumni
  • Work closely with University Relations, Graduate Programs, Admissions, and other UNG departments to maintain efficient and effective working relations and processes
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
