The position of communications and donor engagement associate serves an integral role with the Whitfield Healthcare Foundation. This position will coordinate communications efforts across a variety of channels including digital communications, social media, website, newsletter publications and email communications. Responsibilities will include creating, editing and publicizing content; coordinating communications efforts with Hamilton Marketing and Foundation marketing/branding; assisting with updating website strategy, content and user friendliness to support marketing and fundraising goals; helping coordinate calendar, scheduling and task management related to Foundation activities; and assisting with annual giving program, donor stewardship and donor engagement. Responsibilities with annual giving, donor stewardship and engagement include researching and identifying prospects, updating prospect and donor contact information, assisting with the development and relaunch of annual giving program, facilitating donor appreciation and recognition, and assisting with prospect, educational and donor events.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (4-year degree)
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Individual must have exceptional computer aptitude with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • An individual with strong organizational and task management skills preferred.
  • Requires ability to juggle and prioritize a variety of projects and duties to support marketing and fundraising goals, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in philanthropic events, fundraising and donor management and stewardship a plus.
