About The Position

If your answers are yes, let’s talk! Riverside Presbyterian Church is recruiting for a Communications & Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) ; Peoplr is excited to be leading this search. In this role, you will support the church’s communications and daily operations by designing the weekly bulletin and other print materials using InDesign and established brand guidelines. You’ll organize email campaigns in Constant Contact, update website content, and complete light audio editing for weekly sermons. You’ll perform front ‑ desk duties, maintain office hours, and provide project support for program and pastoral staff. Strong communication, organization, and customer ‑ service skills are essential for welcoming visitors and coordinating office volunteers. This is a part-time position (20 hours/week), working onsite at the church Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-1:30pm. Requirements

  • A personal and growing faith in Jesus Christ
  • Experience working within an office or similar professional setting
  • Technological aptitude with the ability and willingness to get up to speed on various programs quickly
  • Proficiency in computer programs, including InDesign
  • Friendly and warm demeanor to greet guests in the office
  • Organized, able to effectively multi-task, and meet regular weekly deadlines
  • High school diploma

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with Canva
  • Prior work experience in communications and/or technology
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree
