About The Position

Job Title: Patient Access - Communications Specialist Part Time - Weekends/3rd Shift. Direct incoming calls from the switchboard and patient information lines in a courteous and professional manner. Monitor alarms and emergency telephones in the switchboard and communicate necessary information quickly. Receive and process work orders in a timely and professional manner. Provide information to walk-up visitors and patients in a courteous and professional manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year customer service experience.
• Comfortable using common computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Answer switchboard and information desk telephones in a professional and courteous manner and accurately connecting the caller with either the extension or information they need.
• Greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Consistently ensure positive customer interactions.
• Manage difficult or emotional individual situations.
• Respond promptly to individual needs.
• Respond to requests for service and assistance.
• Fulfill commitments to individuals.
