We are looking for a Communication Integration Engineer to join a world class team to develop and test advanced electric and systems for the next generation of electric vehicles planned for mass production.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with creating, implementing, and testing network communications for automotive ECUs
  • Significant experience with CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet
  • Experience in implementing, specifying, and testing Automotive Diagnostics on CAN and LIN (ISO-14229/UDS)
  • Experience or background in the development of vehicle electronic architectures
  • Familiarity with tools such as CANalyzer and CANoe or equivalent
  • Experience with audio, video, control and precision timing messaging
  • Experience with Autosar
  • Experience with failure analysis like FMEA and fault trees
  • Understanding of other automotive communication standards MOST, FlexRay, LVDS, etc.
  • Motivation to make a difference in the automotive industry and complicated systems work together

Responsibilities

  • Develop network communications architecture for the vehicle
  • Create and maintain communication network files (CAN, LIN, and Ethernet)
  • Develop and execute Design Verification test plans at the ECU and vehicle level
  • Conduct network simulations for analyzing and optimizing bus loading and message latency
  • Interact with suppliers to define interfaces and create functionality
  • Lead the development and implementation of specifications for manufacturing plant end of line testing and service tools
