The Department of Communication at Brenau University - a vibrant and growing program located at the heart of downtown Gainesville, GA - is looking for a new colleague to join their ranks. This program offers knowledge and training across media platforms, fosters skills in written and oral communication, and boosts students' media literacy. We offer a wide range of classes that provide a well-rounded review of mass communication, PR, journalism, marketing, communication skills, and writing, and students can focus on a concentration or direction that appeals to them most. Students immediately receive hands-on experience with media equipment and participate in real-world communication projects to prepare them for effective and ethical careers in communication. Upon graduating, students in the College of Business and Communication will have successfully completed internships and professional projects for their portfolio and resume. Professional development and readiness for the workforce are hallmarks of our program with a strong post-graduation employment rate. The department offers bachelor's degree programs in Mass Communication (on-ground) and Communication and Media Studies (online), and an online master's degree program in Communication and Media Studies.
