About The Position

HealthPartners is hiring a Communication and Instructional Design Consultant. This role is r esponsible for developing engaging communications and learning experiences to enhance colleagues knowledge of Compliance-related topics.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a healthcare or other highly regulated environment
  • Proven experience in instructional design or e-learning development.
  • Familiarity with reading, analyzing and working with healthcare or other complex laws, regulations and requirements
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Power Point, Excel and Visio
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and oral, with different audiences, and tailor messages accordingly
  • Ability to grasp new and complex concepts quickly, identify key impacts and translate for others
  • Ability to self-motivate, take initiative and engage in critical thinking
  • A drive for proactive and continuous improvement
  • System thinking/orientation
  • Experience supporting complex projects
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong skills in research and information analysis
  • Strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing conditions, and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Advanced degree in relevant discipline such as JD, MHA, MPH or MBA

Responsibilities

  • Course Development : Design and develop courses and curriculum tailored to specific learning objectives and audience needs.
  • Communication Development : Design and develop engaging content for various internal publications.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create course and communication materials.
  • Learning Experience Design : Implement courses utilizing multimedia and e-learning platforms.
  • Quality Assurance : Conduct assessments of courses and communications to ensure effectiveness.
  • Innovation : Stay updated on emerging trends in instructional design and educational technology to continuously improve learning experiences.
