About The Position

The J Street Communal Relations Department is seeking an undergraduate student, graduate student, or recent graduate as an Intern based in the New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, or Washington, DC area for the Spring/Summer of 2026. This internship is an excellent opportunity to better understand and get involved in J Street’s work.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain deeper knowledge of the American Jewish community and strengthen research and outreach skills. This position is ideal for applicants interested in non-profit work, research, and data management.

Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Alignment with J Street’s mission
• Proficiency with Google applications and experience with Salesforce or other database platforms a plus

Responsibilities

• Researching Jewish leaders and institutions
• Updating and managing Communal Relations database
• Assisting with outreach to potential new activists
• Other tasks as needed
