Our work depends on Training Specialist joining our team to provide the finest technical and tactical training at SCSTC Det Southwest, CA. As a Training Specialist you will help train specializing in surface radars, navigation and data link systems for surface combatants. This role supports Advanced Warfare Training (AWT) Phases, including Self-Assessment Groom Training (SAGT). The successful candidate will develop, organize, and conduct technical and tactical training necessary to meet US Navy training requirements. This role will encompass both classroom and hands-on instruction for technicians and tacticians on the operation and maintenance of Navigation and Data Link Systems. The trainer will develop, test, maintain, and deliver moderately complex training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectives, establishing, setting and reviewing course content and objectives. Responsibilities also include developing criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities, maintaining records, tracking participant progress, and regularly updating course documentation to ensure timeliness and relevance.
