About The Position

The Business Development Associate Consultant at Commonwealth is responsible for initiating and fostering relationships with prospective financial advisors. This role involves supporting the onboarding process, maintaining CRM databases, and managing departmental projects, all while ensuring a high level of satisfaction for advisors. Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the financial services field with RIA or broker/dealer experience.
• Self-starter motivated to fill the team's pipeline with quality prospective advisors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening and probing skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to excel in a team environment.
• FINRA Series 7 securities registration.
• Experience with CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Proactively research and evaluate prospective advisors, providing information about the firm and assessing fit.
• Assist business development consultants and team members with tasks related to streamlining the onboarding experience for new advisors.
• Respond to inbound inquiries and requests for proposals alongside a business development consultant.
• Maintain the CRM database to support the sales process and report on each marketing campaign.
• Prepare logistics for home office visits, including booking presenters, securing rooms, and developing advisor profiles.
• Manage and lead departmental projects as needed.
