Requirements

  • Able to lift to 75lbs, and push/pull carts of 150lbs.
  • Basic language communication skills in order to communicate both verbally and in writing with guests, owners, and co-workers, and fully comprehend job assignments
  • Physically able to work from ladders, move furniture, operate cleaning equipment, and tolerate exposure to general cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold, dust, and noise
  • Flexible schedule – able to work varied days and shifts to include weekend and holidays.
  • Bilingual a plus

  • Previous experience in housekeeping

Responsibilities

  • Clean guest corridors, landings, stairwells, assigned units, offices, and public areas.
  • Vacuum, perform carpet cleaning, and carry out heavy cleaning tasks.
  • Assist with furniture moves in compliance with all standards of quality and productivity.
  • Ensure all department assets and supplies are secured and neatly organized in designated storage areas.
  • Promptly turn in lost and found items with proper tagging and identification.
  • Perform general cleaning duties in public areas including wiping down and painting stairwells, railings, walkways, and trash rooms, and maintain all trash bins.
  • Conduct general dusting and deep cleaning of public areas.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby and ensure all glass doors are clean and spotless.
  • Ensure accurate stock levels of supplies in public area restrooms and the fitness center.
  • Powerwash property grounds as needed.
  • Maintain the fireplace and grill area.
  • Blow leaves and perform snow removal duties.
  • Use small tools for specific assignments as directed.
  • Promptly address any repair or engineering requests.
  • Carry out daily tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping or Maintenance Manager or Supervisor.
  • Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere acknowledgment.
  • Provide customer service to guests, including offering information about resort services, activities, and local attractions.

  • Complete all required company training and compliance courses.
  • Adhere to company standards and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.
