About The Position
The Commodity Trader position is a unique opportunity for experienced professionals in the field of commodity trading, specifically tailored for those who possess a robust book of business. This role is designed for individuals who are not newcomers to the industry, as it demands a high level of autonomy and self-motivation. The position is 100% remote, allowing traders to work from anywhere, and it operates on a performance-based model without a set schedule. This means that traders can choose to work as little as two hours a week or as much as 60 hours, depending on their personal goals and the demands of their business. The focus is solely on results, and the commission structure is among the best in the industry, rewarding high performance with lucrative commission brackets that increase as traders achieve higher sales volumes. Traders will be responsible for prospecting and building profitable new business opportunities that are scalable. This involves establishing long-term relationships with suppliers to foster growth and adapting to the competitive landscape of the commodity market. Successful candidates will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve their goals, utilizing their economic and critical thinking skills to ensure sustainable long-term success. A strong emphasis is placed on providing excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction, and all business dealings must be conducted lawfully and with integrity. This position is particularly appealing to seasoned traders from various commodities, including metals, agriculture, crude oil, coal, shingles, hardwood, and lumber. The company offers full support staff for administrative and dispatching needs, ensuring that traders can focus on their core responsibilities without being bogged down by operational tasks.
