About The Position

The Commodity Sourcing Lead is responsible for strategic global sourcing and managing supplier relationships for multiple commodities. This role involves ensuring supply chain security, managing supplier contracts and pricing, and collaborating with various teams to support new product development and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate internally for product development needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• ERP experience, preferably with Oracle.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound business judgment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain expert knowledge of assigned commodities including industry trends and key suppliers.
• Develop and implement commodity and supplier strategies.
• Manage supplier relationships and assess supplier performance.
• Interface with new product development teams to lead supplier selection.
• Collaborate with Quality organization on supplier quality programs.
• Manage component pricing from suppliers within assigned commodities.
• Lead cost reduction and containment projects.
• Develop and maintain security of supply plans for assigned commodities.
• Manage supplier contracts and provide performance feedback.
