Position Summary: The Commodity Manager will lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for key commodities within a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, vendor selection, negotiating contracts, and ensuring supply continuity to support aggressive production and growth targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in Supply Chain/Operations/Engineering)
  • 7+ years in a strategic sourcing role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and commodity management principles
  • Proven ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and cost targets.
  • Contract Negotiation experience (MSA, MOU, Inventory, Commodity, Currency, etc.)
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Deep knowledge of supplier contracts and appropriate terms.
  • Supplier relationship management and performance improvement ability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the entire supplier contract life cycle—drafting, negotiating, implementation and adherence.
  • Lead supplier negotiations related to contracts, pricing, inventory levels, and other key commercial terms to optimize cost and supply continuity.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to support new product introductions and design changes.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives, VAVE efforts and supplier performance improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts, pricing, and performance metrics.
